Say Cheese!

You know... I used to work in management, teamwork was always the No1 approach... you can't stand over peoples shoulders all the time, I mean, you do have other things to do. However you have to maintain discipline, you have to command respect or all team cohesion starts to break down, people goof off and nothing gets done.

But I sure as S**t wouldn't sack anyone over a cheese slice. Ok theft is theft... but you have to know the difference between a malicious act to deprive the business secretly of an asset or a resource... or just poorly maintained management discipline within the workforce... if you create the oppertunity then someone will always take advantage.... if you keep discipline, then these things don't happen.

Anyway..... I better get this laptop back to the guy in work I .. borrowed it from..... LATERS!!!!!

Has anyone ever told you you're great with kids?

Sometimes people ask me why I don't have kids, they say I'd be fantastic with them.

NOT BLOODY LIKELY!

I've loved Ian Dury and The Blockheads for ages ever since I heard the song "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick". He's never been a trend so never slipped in and out of fashion with peoples passing music tastes... you know.... here one song, like it, buy an album, listen to it once...... then it's stuck on your CD chelf for 18 months until a party and someone with some good music taste decides that they have to have "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll"

Anyway... been looking forward to this for a while now so off into town to take a look.

Let it snow let is snow let is snow

I think that heading says it all. Most of England has come to a screeching Holt!
I have been snowed in the last 2 days so it is working at home and before you all think that is really good and great, I can tell you it is not all that as these four walls seem to be closing in on me and is making me feel like I could just scream.
There is nothing I can do about it, work is work and snow is snow, I just have to handle what work and mother nature throw at me.

Not a good start

So it was said there would be more blogging and getting back into the swing of things once the new year was here. Lets face it we all make plans and a lot of us break plans so here it is with me, I failed though on the bright side it is only the 5th of the month!
Right I am off to see my list and set out a real plan on what to do and how to do it, does anyone have a magic wand? Maybe a genie in the bottle I can borrow?

New Years Resolution

My New Years Resolution is definetly to do more blogging.
I've been neglecting it while I focus on other things, including entrecards which for me has been great for introducing me to other blogs.
I will be spending some time sorting my finances and also working out my goals for this year.
