Has anyone ever told you you're great with kids?

Sometimes people ask me why I don't have kids, they say I'd be fantastic with them.

NOT BLOODY LIKELY!

This is a poem by Philip Larkin which somes up why I don't want to have kids.

This Be The Verse

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.

Haha, this was the plan! No kids forever! Then I forgot to take a few pills during an especially hectic and stressful week at work and voila! Pregnant! Still ambivalent about the pregnancy but happy it makes people happy.

LOL... Sorry to hear that Frances.... you know.. they say kids change everything......and when people say that they never really expand on it....
